Product Description
These milled logs (a.k.a giant dowels) are the main component of log home or log cabin shell.
The lathe is able to perform 3 essential operations on the log: turning, C-groove (Swedish cope), kerfing.
1. Debarking/turning: max log length: 26ft (8m), can be extended by 8ft (2.5m) extra frame sections, maxdiameter: 19½" (500mm) 2. Grooving (the style depends on knives, can be: Swedish cope, Tongue&groove, etc), width range from6¼" to 13½" (160-340mm)3. Kerfing: circular saw blade diameter 300mm, bore 30mm.
