Description:
Kaplan Water Turbine is widely used in hydro power plants with the low head from 1.5m to 15m.Design water flow from 0.5m3/Sto 10m3/S. they are included in runner, shaft, guide van and Governor.
They are made in horizontal and vertical arrangement and only with the direct connection to the generator or with belt connection to the generator.
Runner and guide wheel regulation. Designed as a monoblock, and is used primarily in reconstructions of older plants.
Guide wheel performs the function of both the operational and closure system solved by gravity or pressure accumulator.
Installation is either with transfer belt or with a direct connection to the generator.
