After finishing the cement-combined castable construction, it is a must to carry out maintenance and baking. If the maintenance duration is not long enough, the castable strength will be affected. If the baking duration is not long enough or if there is careless operation during baking, crack, burst, chip off-falling, collapse and other serious quality accidents will occur when the castable is being baked or put into use. As a result, the units that use castable will allow a minimum maintenance duration of 7 days to the castable and a 7 to 20 days' baking duration as per the size of the casting object. In order to solve the maintenance and baking problem of castable, our company has put in enough manpower, materials and fund for the development of a new type of zero baking castable that is free of maintenance and baking. The advantages of this material can be summed up as follows.
1. After the construction for the zero baking castable is finished, the nozzle can be started immediately to ignite for increasing to the operating temperature. During increasing temperature and application, the construction object poured by zero baking castable is free of burst, crack, overburning, and chip off-falling, and can be used directly without maintenance and oven after construction. Capable of saving the oven cost, oven time and avoiding maintenance are its best advantage.
2. The comparison of our zero baking castable with the low cement castable of the same aggregate and base material is shown as follows.
