E2209-16 is a kind of ultra-low-carbon dual-phase stainless steel electrode with lime-titania type coating. The deposited metal contains 40%-50% ferrite. It has excellent mechanical properties and corrosion-resistance, especially reliable chloride corrosion-resistance and high pitting corrosion-resistance. It has excellent welding performance. AC/DC.
 
Application: 
 
The welding electrode is mainly used for used for welding ultra-low-carbon dual-phase stainless steel like 00Cr22Ni5Mo3N, SAF2205, etc.
 
Instruction:

1. The oil stains and rust on the welding should be cleared away.

2. Pls use stainless steel brush cleaning bead  to avoid iron mied affacting weld quality.

3. Pls Dry 60 minutes at 300-350 before welding. 

4. Take out a small quantity into 100-150 drying cylinder, when operation. 

5. Do not carry electrode over half-day using quantities.

6.When swing the electrode, swing width should be within 2.5 times of the electrode diameter.

7. Try to keep short arc and low current, in order to reduce creazing and improve toughness.
