KXO(CPS) control and protective switching device series
◎Summarization
CPS control and protection switch apparatus is new product of low voltage apparatus. CPS control and protective switching device solve traditional various problem of unreasonable select of discrete components (normally circuit breaker or fuse protector+ contactor+ overload protective relay) caused unreasonable control and protective coordination, especially overcome the problem: combination different apparatus with different criteria caused uncoordination of protective characteristic and control characteristic, greatly improved control and protective system working reliability and continuous working performance.
The first generation CPS series have big volume, protection adopt bimetal technology. Second generation product solved volume problem, but didn't have improvement on technology. Repeating overload may cause conductor heating, intelligent controller can simulate thermal bimetal characteristic heating affect after overload, short time delay or definite time limit etc fault motion, overload energy need around 30 min to finish releasing, short circuit time delay need around 15 min to finish releasing, if close KXO switch and have overload or short circuit time delay etc fault during thermal releasing time, then motion time will be shorter, to ensure circuit or apparatus get suitable protection.

◎Main part
Have short circuit protection(like MCCB and fuse protector short circuit protection function), automatic control (like contactor remote control function), local operation and indication function. Mainly consist of shell, theme panel, bottom panel, electromagnet transmission mechanism, operation mechanism, main circuit contactor group(include contact system, short circuit trip mechanism) etc parts.

Electromagnet transmission mechanism mainly consist of control coil, iron core, control contact and base etc (similar like contactor electromagnet control system, have undervoltage protection), can accept ON/OFF operation order, control main contact of main circuit contactor group getting through or breaking main circuit. Coil wiring terminal mark is A1,A2.
◎Operation mechanism
Can accept each pole contactor group instantaneous short circuit signal and fault signal from intelligent trip mechanism, cutoff control coil circuit by control contact and break main circuit by electromagnet. Can reset by operation button after fault removal.

◎Main circuit contactor group(include contact system, short circuit trip mechanism)
Main circuit contactor group consist of moving, fixed dual break contact, grid arc-chute and current limit type rapid short circuit trip mechanism operation mechanism, each pole are independent to each other; main circuit contactor group have current limit type rapid short circuit trip mechanism and high breaking capacity arc extinguish system, realize high current limit characteristic (current limit coefficient less than 0.2) backup protection, its trip current setting value can't be adjusted, only relative with main rated current, its setting value is 20In±20%(valid value).Trip mechanism impact rapidly to open main contact in 2-3ms when short circuit happening in load condition, drive operation mechanism cutoff control coil circuit to switch off all poles in main circuit simultaneously.

Automatic control position: KXO inner coil control contact in close position, control circuit ON/OFF condition by coil, can remote automatic control in this status;
Trip free position: In power on circuit, if have overload short circuit, phase default or loss, overvoltage undervoltage etc fault, product inner relative function module motion to make main contact and circuit control contact in switch off position;
OFF position: coil control contact in OFF position, main contact keep in OFF position;
Reset position: Only can make free tripped KXO restoration normally and reset while operation rotary knob turn to this position
