Product Description
The BTD430, Bluetooth wireless serial port adaptor, is the best solution for RS232 cable replacement. Its host interface is a RS232 port can be connected to the standard RS232 interface of data communication equipments and hence enable the equipments to exchange data via Bluetooth wireless technology. That is, the adaptor eliminates the need of conventional RS232 serial cable between the data communication equipments with superior freedom of movement and providing the coverage up to 100 meters. As implemented with standard Bluetooth SPP profile, it can communicate with another Bluetooth serial adaptor or other Bluetooth-enabled devices such as a laptop computer, PDA or mobile phone.
The host computer can configure the BTD430 or control the communication by AT command set via RS232 port. No need for host computer to know anything about Bluetooth profile stack.
The adaptor can be powered by Pin 9 of the D SUB 9-pin connector or a USB cable.
