Heavy duty corrugated box compression testing machine

1.    Introduction

The compression testing machine is to measure compression strength of heavy duty corrugated box(weight of filled good is more than 55kg or sum of length, width,height is more than 2500mm,for transport using) in the situation of pressure and protect functions of packages for the objects filled in the packages.

According to the different using of heavy duty corrugated paperboard, heavy duty corrugated box has the following type:

1)    four-layer composite heavy duty corrugated box,

2)    five-layer heavy duty corrugated box,

3)    six-layer composite heavy duty corrugated box,

4)    seven-layer composite heavy duty corrugated box,

5)    seven-layer heavy duty corrugated box.

2.    test principle of compression strength measuring

(1)  heavy duty corrugated box compression strength test, loading to the heavy duty corruated box using a compression test at a certain constant rate untill heavy duty corrugated box is broken or till certain load or displacement are reached.

(2)  Heavy duty corrugated box stacking test, loading a certain force to the heavy duty corrugated box using a compression testing machine untill heavy duty corrugated box is broken or sustain a certain time period.

When measuring deformation of heavy duty corrugated box during compression test, an original load should be set as a datum point. The datum point can refer to the following chart:

3.    Functions of compression testing machine

This machine is applicable to metal, cementing compound, tubes, sectional bars, aerospace, petrochemical, waterproof rolls, wire and cable, textile, fiber, rubber, ceramics, food, mechanical packaging, geo-textile, film, wood, paper and other industries and quality supervision department, and it also can be used in college for teaching demonstration.
