Disc Hulling
It is suitable for the oil plants, which are high in rate of hull, for example: sunflower seed, peanut, cotton seeds.
After cleaning and selecting, the oil materials are send to the hulling machine to remove hulls, it derectly influence the following procedures: extraction and refining.There is only 1% oil contained in the hull but 99% in the kernels, if not remove, they will absorbing oil in the pressed cake and then reduce total oil yield, and also reduces the capacity of the oil extraction equipment in addition to more repair and maintenance charges. Besides, wax and coloring matters in hulls always influence with the pressed oil and you need to refine the oil with extra money to get better edible oil. Remove the hulls also can increase the maketability as stock feed and reduce fibrous content.
