Hardness has obvious anisotropy

The mullite from calcined kyanit has high-temperature stability, low expansion, good refractoriness, high load capacity at high temperature.  

Its product has little change of volume at high temperature, good thermal stability, slag and wear resistance because its expansion can offset the contraction of others; they can be used directly without calcination and save energy.

Manufacturing high grad refractory, mortar, cement, casting products, plastic ramming mixes, technical ceramics, sparking plug of car energy, insulator, ball of ball mill, test utensil, shock-proof item.

Refining silumin by electrothermal process used in part of plane, car, train and vessel. 

Making refractory bricks, sectional material used in hot blast heater and tower, reheating furnace, soaking pit and kiln facilities and as various subsidiary castable. 

Producing spray film, crystalized fluorite, the leading edge of supersonic aircraft, hardware of spacecraft,

Can be used as abradant, glaze component, the material of non-slippery floor.
