It will be gradually hydrolyzed into phosphate with good ability to complex the metal ion,such as Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, etc. into the soluble compound. 

Soften hard water. 

As an inorganic surface active agent, it has the organic surface active nature.

Application:

Synthetic detergent additives, also in the fields of ceramics, construction material, petroleum, metallurgy, mining, water treatment, etc.
