The newly designed Section Mill offers unique design concept. The downhole life of standard section mill is determined by the triangular blade profile in the open position which makes milling casing collars difficult as the cutting blade wears during operation. The profile of the Section Mill designed is identical to that of a pilot mill. This profile allows the Section Mill to mill a full diameter for the entire life of the cutters. Milling casing collars are no longer a concern by using this Section Mill.
