The filter cartridge technology is a state-of-art technology worldwide in powder recovery systems. Major and small powder coaters globally have already or are switching over from cyclones and other forms of outdated and inefficient powder recovery systems to the filter cartridge type.Further, within this technology, all filter cartridges used are now only made from polyester, treated with PTFE (Teflon) which has a life of over  more than 8000 hours.

 

This powder recovery technology gives you as the user innumerable advantages …

 

1. Virtual 100% recovery of powder for reuse. This, when compared to outdated and conventional recovery systems like cyclones (single or multi) translates into savings which could run into lakhs of rupees. Compared to virtually 100% recovery efficiency  in the cartridge  Series systems, the best designed multicyclones give a recovery of no greater than 95% and poorly designed or manufactured  cyclones or other recoveries could be as low as 70-80% only or sometime even lower. Efficiency figures for cyclones, etc go down still further when using  light shades like whites, off-whites, light greys due to these powders’ lower bulk specific density.

Color change time: One of the major advantages the cartridge Series filter cartridge system offer is the speed with which color change can be effected – often as low as or even lower than 20-30 minutes only. Color change requires the main coating booth space to be cleaned and the filter modules then changed with that of the next color.
