Description :
BW-B thermostat with plastic shell ,is widely used in industrial , home appliance motor ,
humidifier , hair dryer , ballast etc . It provides protection for electric appliance from abnormal
operation caused by overheat . The shell of intensive type applies in internally installed for plastic
sealed motor .it can bear 3.5MPa pressure .
Structure and Principle
BW-B thermal protector of normal type and intensive type consist of heat conductive shell ,bimetal
welded with silver alloy contact , electric conductive holder , insulating base , static wafer and heat
resistant wire .

When electric current goes through the bimetal of impedance , if in abnormal
operation ,with the current increase , or ambient temperature increase to rated action temperature
, the bimetal take action soon , open the contact and cut the circuit . When device cool to safe
operationg temperature , the contact will close automatically, and continue normal operation .
