1. Introduction to river iron sand dredging and separating machinery

The iron sand dredging machinery is used in the deep river to dredge the sand and separate the iron ore from the sand. It is a modification of the sand dredger, or rather a sand dredger equipped with extra iron separator.

The dredging depth ranges from 1 meter to 20 meters, and the capacity can be up to 140 m3/h.

After the river sand is dredged, the sand screen will separate the gravels/stones first. Then the sand containing iron ore will be attracted to the surface of the magnetic separator. The iron ore, the gravels, and the final sand will be discharged separately by conveyor belt or transportation boat.
