This machine family is designed to cut, with many cutting methods, spiral bevel gears, hypoid gears and zero bevel gears of diameter up to 320mm and module up to 6mm. It is especially suitable for roughing and finishing, in mass production, spiral bevel gear pairs used in the light-duty vehicles, auto rickshaws and quad bikes.

This machine family consists of three modular-design versions: YK2232/ YK2232A/ YKW2932, and their functions are:

The YK2232 CNC spiral bevel gear generator is a general-purpose machine for roughing and finishing the gears and pinions.

The YK2232A CNC spiral bevel gear generator is a version with a cutter tilt mechanism. It is not only used for cutting the Formate pinions but also for the “cutter tilt modifications” of the tooth bearings. It’s preferable to be used in companion with the YKW2932 CNC spiral bevel gear finisher.

The YKW2932 CNC spiral bevel gear finisher is mainly used to cut ring gears high-efficiently with the Formate method, and at the same time this machine can be changed into a universal spiral bevel gear generator.

 

 

Description:

 

1.      Machines in this family are CNC spiral bevel gear cutting machines with the cradle roll and the sliding base feed.

2.      These machines are 3-axis CNC machines, i.e. the cradle roll (X-axis), the work spindle rotation (Y-axis) and the sliding base movement (Z-axis), and 3-axis simultaneous movements are possible. The machines adopt the Generating method and the Infeed method and Modified Roll and Cutter Tilt methods as well. A SIEMENS 802 DSL CNC system and a digital servo system are standard.

3.      Cutter spindle rotations are controlled by means of a frequency variable motor for the stepless speed regulation.

4.      A high precision worm and worm wheel pair with a dampening device is used for the cradle drive and the work spindle drive respectively, and a gear backlash eliminating device is adopted for the work indexing of the YKW2932 machine in order to enhance the machine structure and the transmission rigidity and to guarantee the machining accuracy, to improve the productivity and to prolong the service life.

5.      To ensure the gear finishing rigidity of the YKW2932 finisher, a Y-axis indexing device, a hydraulic backlash elimination device and a lock device for the X, Y and Z axes are equipped on the machine.

6.      A cutter tilt device with maximum 30° tilt angle is equipped on the YK2232A machine to cut the Formate pinions and modify perfectly the tooth bearings to cut Generating-forming pinions so as to get better tooth bearing modifications.

7.      No change gears should be changed on machines of this family, thus shortening the time for the machine set ups.                                                       

8.      Machines of this family is easy to be operated and facilitates the improvement of productivity.

9.      CNC control system, main electrical and hydraulic components, critical bearings and sealing are fine quality products or world well known brands, which guarantee the machine reliability.

10.  The machine is equipped with an independent sealed electrical cabinet, with an air conditioner.

11.  A machine enclosure and an auto-chip conveyor are equipped on the machine.
