GLASSWOOL BLANKET INSULATION FOR DUCT WRAP is a highly efficient, resilient, and easy to handle flexible blanket insulation composed of fine, stable and uniformly textured inorganic glass fibers bonded together by a non-water soluble and fire-retardant thermosetting resin. It can be laminate with different facing materials including aluminum foil, fiberglass cloth etc for some particular purposes.
Applications:
GLASSWOOL BLANKET INSULATION FOR DUCT WRAP is designed for use in commercial, institutional, industrial and residential construction as thermal and acoustical insulation of heating, air conditioning and dual temperature ducts and air handling equipment. This product helps prevent condensation when properly applied to air conditioning ductwork.
GLASSWOOL BLANKET INSULATION FOR duct wrap is available with faced with aluminum foil (FSK), white metalized scrim kraft or other specific vapor barrier facings.
The choice of proper facing is important it helps to preserve the inherent fire safety of metal building. The facings brighten the building interiors due to their high light reflectance, reduce the cost of interior lighting, contribute to and effective vapor barrier and to the control of condensation and dripping moisture.
