BS6323 Seamless Mechanical Tubing

Steel Grde:
BS6323-1 CFS3, CFS4, CFS6, CFS7, CSF8, CFS10, CFS11 and equivalents like ASTM A519 SAE1020, SAE1035, SAE1045, SAE1026, SAE1541, SAE4130, SAE4140, etc.

Packing: 
Beveled / black painting / plastic caps / in bundles / steel strips / wooden protection

Inspection and Test: 
Chemical Composition Inspection, Mechanical Properties Test(Tensile Strength, Yield Strength,Elongation, Flaring, Flattening, Bending, Hardness, Impact Test),Surface and Dimension Test,Nodestructive Test, Hydrostatic Test.

Surface treatment:
Oil dip, Varnish, Passivation, Phosphating, Shot Blasting

Mark: 
Marking or mechanical stamp on each piece of tube to be confirmed or as requested.

Method of manufacture:

The tubes shall be manufactured by a seamless process and shall be cold finished.

It is permissible for cold finished tubes to have on internal or external surfaces an adherent layer of residual lubricant originating from the drawing process. If phosphate or other residues are

detrimental to subsequent processing, then their removal shall be the subject of an agreement between the manufacturer and the purchaser.

Delivery condition:

The tubes shall be supplied in one of the following delivery conditions

a) Cold finished /  hard (cold finished as drawn): BK;

b) Cold finished/soft (lightly cold worked): BKW

c) Annealed: GBK

d) Annealed (including de-scaling): GZF;

e) Normalized: NBK

f) Normalized (including de-scaling): NZF.

Many other steel grades and customized – modified steel grades are available on request.

Packing and delivery:

We normally has 2type of package, one is wooden cases and the other is easier one. We can also pack them as customers’ requests. We are sure that all is safe enough during the transportation.
