Application range
WZBT series of rotor frequency conversion speed regulator is a motor speed regulation equipment that makes use of present and mature technology to be designed and developed, aiming at high reliability, easy operation and superior performance. It adopts low voltage to control high voltage, regarded as a reasonable scheme for high voltage motor speed regulation. It can be suitable for the motor speed regulation of high voltage and big capacity fans and pumps in the different industries such as waterworks, power plant, heat supply plant, metallurgy, petroleum chemistry and construction material., etc.
WZBT series of rotor frequency conversion speed regulation system consists of inner feedback speed regulation motor, rotor frequency conversion speed regulation equipment and liquid resistance starter, or coil motor, rotor frequency conversion speed regulation equipment, liquid resistance starter and transformers. Rotor frequency conversion speed regulator is made up of starter cabinet and frequency conversion cabinet which may has one or two faces cabinet body according to motor capacity.
Working principle
The working principle of WZBT series of rotor frequency conversion regulator is to put added electric potential in rotor loop of coil induction motor to change added electric potential on the purpose of speed regulation. Motor stator absorbs power from the power grid, one part of which change into mechanical power and the other part slip power that will be sent to selenium rectifier via rotor. Then the slip power change into direct current, and voltage rises by boost converter, finally feed back to power grid passing by thyristor inverter and inversion transformers. A majority of slip power feedbacking to power grid leads to very high efficiency.

Boost converter adopts new big power full-controlled IGBT. It does not need assistant shut-off circuit, safe and reliable.
Flexible and convenient ways of speed regulation control: Free conversion of regulation and full-speed operation, open loop and close loop operation, in situ and distant control.
Complete protection measurement: Protection such as over voltage, three phase voltage imblance, over current. At the time of system malfunction, system automatically records malfunction information and makes motor full-speed operation or stop.
Independent DC power supply with several loops ensure the reliability of power supply operatiion.
Several design of anti-interference: The equipment has quite strong ability of anti-interference.

Working conditions
WZBT rotor frequency conversion speed regulator is installed inside the house, and normally operates under the following conditions.
Working temperature: Environmental temperature: 0℃~+40℃, the change of environmental temperature does not exceed 5℃ every one hour.
Relative humidity: The maximum relative humidity of air does not exceed 90%. The change of relative humidity does not exceed 5% every hour, and the dew can not appear.
Installation environment: Operation place should not have electricity conductive or explosive dust, corroded metal or gas and steam destroying insulation, fire and explosive danger, chemical corrosion and excessive vibration.
Vibration: The vibration conditions of transducer installation place: The strict grade of vibration frequency is 10—55Hz. Vibration acceleration does not exceed 5m/s.
Altitude: The altitude of installation place does not exceed 1000m, if over 1000m, reducing capacity needs to be used.
AC power grid quality:
1. Voltage fluctuation does not exceed ±10%, short time fluctuation does not exceed +15%~-10%.
2. Frequency fluctation does not exceed ±2%. The changing speed of frequency does not exceed ±1% every second.
3. Negative sequence component of three phases power supply does not exceed 5% of positive sequence component.
4. The root-mean-square value of voltage steady relative harmonic wave content does not exceed 10%. Any odd harmonic does not exceed 5%, and any even harmonic does not exceed 2%. Any short time odd harmonic content does not exceed 10% (duration less than 30s).
5. AC voltage notches should be accordance with 4.2.7e of GB12669-90.
6. The compare of non-repetition and repetition transient voltage should be accordance with 4.2.7f of GB12669-90.
