Finned Tubular Heater Element
Wanyan Finned Heaters are extremely efficient and dependable. The Finned Heater's basic design consists of a helically wound resistance coil placed in a specially designed ceramic insulator. The resistance coil is mechanically connected to the screw terminal for positive connection.
Stainless Steel fins are mounted to the rectangular tubing. The finned tubular heater is designed to improve heat transfer to the air and permits putting more power in tighter spaces—like forced air ducts, dryers, ovens and load bank resistors. Heat transfer, lower sheath temperature and element life are all maximized by the heater's finned construction. Installation is simplified by terminations exiting at one end and mounting accommodations on both ends.
Applications
Dies, Molds, Plastic Forming and Sealing, Tank and Kettle Heating. For specific applications, correctly rated elements should be used to prevent overheating and to ensure long life.
