Liquid aluminum erosion: liquid aluminum graphite rotor immersed in addition to gas in the

Operating skills
Preheating : graphite rotor immersed in liquid aluminum front, above the surface about 100mm
preheating 5min ~ 10min, avoid quenching effect on material; must first pass into the liquid gas
rotor; rotor can be proposed in the surface after the cessation of gas supply, to prevent air spray plug.
Isolation of the air: nitrogen or argon enters in the purifying chamber, ensure that the chamber
is pressurized, isolation outside air, to prevent the oxidation of graphite rotor.
The rotor immersed depth: the reasonable depth of rotor immersed in molten aluminum,
the aluminum surface exposed to enhanced set about 80mm, soaked in about 60mm, so can
effectively increase the rotor antioxidant loss and erosion wear time.
Transmission system: graphite rotor and transmission system is through the connecting rod
(pipe) is connected to the connecting rod, the longterm deformation under high temperature, or
transmission equipment related parts loose, will affect the rotor to neutral and running stability,
easy to make the graphite rotor broken or bump damage.
Argon or nitrogen to pure: if the pipeline, connectors and other components of gas leakage
caused by the argon gas or nitrogen gas is not pure aluminum melt, will make the upper part of the
rotor is oxidized seriously, even make some jet hole at the lower part of the rotor is also oxidized,
it will greatly shorten the service life of the rotor.
Appendix: graphite rotor rotating nozzle is made of high purity graphite, the nozzle structure
