Product Description

Brief Introduction of Limestone Rotary Kiln:
1). Rotary kiln belongs to building material equipment, which can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kiln according to different materials. Cement kiln is used for making of cement clinker and there are dry and wet methods to make cement. Metallurgy chemical kiln is used in metallurgy industry and ironworks for lean iron ore, chromium ore and ferronickel ore calcimine.

2). Rotary kiln is used for calcimine of high aluminum vandal ochre in refractory material industry, calcimine of calotte and aluminum hydroxide in aluminum manufacturer, claiming of chrome sand ore and chrome powder ore in chemical plant.

Structure Features of Rotary Kiln:
The kiln shell is made of rolled steel plates; its structure is optimized by computer software, and features" longitudinal flexible and transverse rigid", which improved the loading of supporting device and stability of refractory lining,
The supporting roller bearings features smaller width over diameter ratio L/D, leading to its higher reliability.
The special high-started torque motor for cement industry rotary kiln is applied for driving system.
The sealing of labyrinth plus spring pressing with asbestos heat isolation layers attached, is applied higher so that reliability and longer service life of sealing are achieved.

Working principle

It mainly consists of kiln body, sealing device for kiln tail, main and auxiliary driving device, burning device, discharging device, speed regulation , instrument control, PLC programming, interlocking device and dust-extraction device, etc.
CaCO3 is the main ingredient of the limestone, and CaO is the main ingredient of lime. The basic principle of lime burning is to preheat materials with low temperature, quickly burn them with high temperature, utilize the perheater and the kiln to heat the limestone and compose them into CaO and CO2., The chemical equation as below:
CaCO3—CaO+CO2↑ -Q
Technological process: At first , preheat the limestone to above 800°C, they will start to compose, And then, they will be pushed into kiln for further burning by the push rod actuator, until the temperature reaches about 1200 °C. Finally, after cooled by cooler, they will be discharged out.

Structure of rotary kiln 

A Rotary kiln consists of cylinder, gears, support device, kiln liner , kiln tail sealing equipment, kiln head hood and combustion. 
Cylinder as heating pivoting department, made of high-quality carbon steel plate, is supported on the support device by tyre, and there is mechanical or hydraulic pressure catch wheel on the first or some gear in order to control the turning of cylinder. Place of the tyre Gearing gyrate according to process-required rotating speed by ring gear in the middle of cylinder. Because of the need By the required of installation and maintenance, the bigger rotary kiln has auxiliary gears, which makes cylinder gyrate more slowly. To prevent cold air come in and dust overflow, the reliable sealing equipment of kiln tail and head is installed on feeding hole and discharge hole. 

  1. Support device: advanced shaft structure, has automatic temperature measurement and electrical heating device ,meanwhile you can choose liquidity support . 
    2. Catch wheel: mechanical wheel and hydraulic pressure 
    3. Gearing: single driver or double driver. Control the revolution by YZD, DC motor and frequency variable motor. Be reliable, energy-saving, and efficient. 
    4. Cylinder tyre bolster: bolster has three types: fixed type, adjustable type and floating type. The structure is simple; maintenance and replacement are convenient without hurting the cylinder. 
    5. Sealing equipment: there are many different design of sealing style for choice according to kiln models, including air cylinder edge sealing, spring edge sealing, graphite block sealing and combination for above. The feather is adaptive for cylinder rotating and swing. And airproof performance is well.
