Rotary kiln is refer to rotate calcination kiln, belong to construction material equipment.

Rotary kiln can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kiln according to different materials.

Cement kiln is used for making of cement clinker and there are dry and wet methods to make cement. 

Metallurgy chemical kiln is used in metallurgy industry and ironworks for lean iron ore, chromium ore and ferronickel ore calcination, which is used for calcining of high alumimum vandal ochre in refractory material industry; for calcing of calotte and alumimum hydroxide in alumimum manufacturer; for calcining of  chrome sand ore and chrome powder ore in chemical plant.

Lime kiln are used for calcine dolo mite and active lime which is used in steel plant and ferroalloy factory.

The rotary kiln is mainly used for heating and calcining metallurgical, building materials, and ores etc mineral materials such as ceramsite sand, bauxite, limestone, cement, metal magnesium, alumina, hydroxide alumina, flyash , high aluminum refractory materials etc.

Rotary Kiln Operating principle:

The rotary kiln is made up of gas flow, fuel burning, heat transfer, and material movement etc process.

The rotary kiln is to make the fuel fully burning, the heat from which can be effectively pass to materials, so that material can produce series of physical and chemical changes after receiving the heat, finally forming finished product chamotte.
