Presentation
This is a sterile solution of sulphamezathine sodium.
Each ml contains 333mg sulphamezathine sodium
Action and uses
Sulphamezathine sodium has an ability to inhibit majority of gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Such as staphylococci stretococci pneumocicci salmonellae corynebacterium pyogenes E coli. Fick's bacillus pasteurellae clostridium perfringens B pneumonia B anthracis B MALLEI B literia etc. It is suitable to treat infectious inflammation cause by sentitive bacterium and mastitis inflammation of respiratory tract ans intestinal gut. Its is also suitable to use to control coccidiosis. Poultry cholera typhoid and paratyphoid.
Dosage and administration
Intravenous or intramuscular injection for horse cattle sheep: 10-200mg/kg B.W at initial dose, a maintanance dose is 50-100mg/kg B.V once daily mixed in drink water at a concentration of 1-2g in one liter.
Precaution:
Prohibited to use for animals with renal failure
Withdrawal :
The withholding time for neat of cattle and sheep is 7 days and for milk for 60 hours
