It is colorless to yellowish clear liquid.

Pharmacological Action
The mechanism is to prevent synthesis and release of PGE in Anterior Hypothalamic neurons,

thus restoring body's normal response of heat production and dissipation, so that restore normal temperature.

It get efficient rapidly, the potency can sustain 3 to 4 hours,

there is no significant effect on gastrointestinal motility when antipyretic and Analgesic. 

It also has effect on anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic. 

Application
Antipyretic and analgesic. Used for treatment of Muscle Pain, Rheumatism, Febrile Diseases, Colic, etc.
Have special effects on high fever caused by bacteria and virus disease infection or mixed infection, such as Eperythrozoon,

toxoplasmosis, circovirus, infectious pleurisy, etc.

Have great effects on inflammation, febrile illness, rheumatism,

courbature and other diseases caused by a variety of pathogenic microorganisms.

Administration and Dosage 
Intramuscular injection, Per Treatment:
3-10g metamizole sodium for cattle and horses;

1-2g metamizole sodium for sheep, goats; 
1-3g metamizole sodium for pigs;
0.3-0.6g metamizole sodium for dogs

Adverse Reactions
If used for a long time, it will cause granulocyte reduction, please examine leukocyte regularly
It will restrain the formation of prothrombin, and aggravate the tendency of bleeding.

Attentions
It cannot be combined with Barbiturate and Phenylbutazone, because their interactions affect the microsomal enzyme.

It also cannot be combined with chlorpromazine, in order to prevent the sharp drop of body temperature

Precautions
The product must not be used for acupoint injection, especially at knuckle part,

or it may cause muscular atrophy and disability of the joint;
It can inhibit the production of prothrombin, and aggravate bleeding tendency.  

Withdrawal Period
28days for cattle, sheep and pig. 7days before withdrawal period for milk
