Advantage of Lost Wax Casting :


 
Lost wax Casting - which is also called Investment Casting, is more expensive than it's related metal casting methods like "die casting" or "sand casting", but it can produce complicated structures that require little CNC machining. Investment casting is used in many advanced technical industries such as Commercial ,Medical, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Marine, Military & Defence and Automotive.

This process is beneficial for casting metals which has high melting temperatures that cannot be moulded in metal dies or dies of other material.
 
Parts typically made by investment casting include those with complex geometry such as turbine blades or mechanical components. High temperature applications are also common if the material is heat resistant , for example parts for the automotive, aircraft, and military industries.
