The Leica Flexline TS09 plus R500 Total Station with 1-second accuracy is a highly accurate optical instrument designed for performance, high precision and demanding measuring tasks. 

This reflectorless total station can store 100,000 points and features removable USB memory, Bluetooth wireless technology, theft protection and powerful EDM (electronic distance meter) for accurate distances and angles. With brilliant color display and touchscreen operation, its complete on-board software allows for quick access and fast navigation through all settings and functions.

PinPoint Reflectorless System

Leica's patented PinPoint R500 reflectorless technology ensures accurate measurements up to 1,640 feet without the use of a prism. Using an Electronic Guide Light and laser pointer for accurate aiming and measuring, the TS09 total station also has quadruple axis compensation that performs line of sight and height-index error corrections. With illuminated telescope and absolute encoder, this field instrument can extend its EDM range up to 12,000 feet using a single prism.

In addition, the user guided leveling process allows surveyors to choose a startup sequence and adjust the removable tribrach, tilt sensor or laser plummet for precise marking of the total stations' location, as well as take quick measurements with the one-touch trigger button. 

Full Leica FlexField Onboard Software

Work productively with Leica's exclusive FlexField Plus onboard software. This data collection software is easy to use and delivers fast navigation of advanced programs for every survey task via tabs and large icons. It also consists of a standard base operating system and applications for calculating topographic surveying, stakeout, reference line, tie distance, area and volume, remote height, hidden point and more.

Memory and Data Transfer

The Leica Flexline TS09 R500 features 100,000 points of internal memory and a communication side cover that enables cable-free connection up to 500 feet away to any data collector like the Leica DX10 via Bluetooth Class 1 technology. It also has a RS232 serial and USB port so a USB stick can be inserted and removed for saving files.

Theft Protection by Leica Geosystems

Leica's MySecurity theft protection functionality gives you peace of mind by incorporating a locking mechanism if your instrument is lost or stolen. It prompts the user for a PIN number after start-up. If the wrong PIN is entered five times, the device is disabled. However, it can still be unlocked with the Personal Unblocking Code found on the total station's delivery papers.
