Characteristic | Based on tests done to the ASTM B117 method suggest a Duplex 2205 type part could be expected to pass a 120 hour test using a 3% salt spray. Polished by hand to a mirror finish to assist in making a quality part. In the passivation process after buffing, acid and rinsing remove surfacecontaminants from the products and produce a hydrous oxide film which enhances corrosion resistance. Every production shipment tested and certified. |
