GD-2801E Asphalt/Bitumens Needle Penetrometer

Ⅰ. Introduction

GD-2801E Asphalt/Bitumen Needle Penetrometer is designed and made as per the National Standard of People's Republic of China GB/T4509 Test Methods for Needle Penetration of Petroleum Asphalt, and T0604 Asphalt Needle Penetration Test in the Industry Standard of People's Republic of China JTJ052 Specification and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering.

The asphalt penetrometer is suitable to make needle penetration determination for highway asphalt, modified asphalt, as well as residue of liquid petroleum asphalt or emulsified asphalt after evaporation.

The asphalt needle penetrometer can also be used to inspect solid granule, powder, colloid, freezing substance, as well as food materials like cheese, glycine, butter, ice cream, cream, and fermentation substance, etc.

It has been widely used in the field of food industry, highway construction, and other industry departments.

Ⅱ. Main technical specification and parameters

1. Measurement range: 0~600 penetrations;

2. Resolution: 0.01 mm;

3. Time control: it can select 5 s or 60 s; timing error is less than ±0.1 s;

4. Heating power of heater: 200 W;

5. Temperature controlling accuracy: 25±0.1 °C (note: the ambient temperature should not be higher than 20 °C);

6. Temperature controlling mode: by a high precision digital temperature controller;

7. Constant temperature bath: It is a harden glass cylinder;

8. Stirring: It is stirred by a magnetic stirring bead (stirring wheel);

9. Standard needle: 2.5 g±0.05 g; as per the requirements of GB/T4509, and T0604;

10. Up and down assembly: It has function of coarse adjustment and fine adjustment. It is convenient to let the needle tip just touch the sample surface.

11. Power supply: AC 220V±10%, 50 Hz.

12. Others: It is equipped with cold light source and magnifier, so it is convenient to be operated.
