1.Description
White Tabular corundum is a kind of pure sintered corundum, which is sintered and completely shrink without adding any additive, such as MgO or B2O3,with coarse crystals and well-developed α- Al2O3 crystal structure. The tabular crystal structure is characterized by narrow pores, with more closed porosity, almost the same apparent porosity compare with fused corundum ,high purity, good stability volume density , tiny refiring shrink. After high temperature treatment, tabular alumina is used for refractory and castable characterized by good thermal shock stability and flexural strength. but the price is higher than the other alumina.
2. Performance
Tabular corundum is characterized by good heating volume temperature performance and good thermal shock resistance.
3.Usage
Tabular alumina is the perfect refractory raw material, which is widely used as the aggregate for producing various alumina refractory, it also can be used in other monolithic refractory. It can replace fused alumina and white fused alumina in some application position, and improve the performance of refractory material.
