Description:
The 88 channel DWDM Arrayed-waveguide grating (AWG) wavelength
division multiplexer and demultiplexer at 50GHz channel spacing are
based on patent-pending CVD process.
FiberStore unique athermal AWG packaging design requiring no
electrical power, software or temperature control for a completely
passive DWDM solution that allows multiplexing of up to 88 wavelengths
to a single fiber.
When combined with the 50GHz Optical Frequency Interleaver (OFI)
module, the 88 channel DWDM Mux/Demux provide an easy upgrade to 88
channels per fiber.
These multiplexers maximize the capacity of the C-band range with
access to 40 or 44 x 100-GHz spaced channels, or up to 88 50GHz spaced
channels when used in conjunction with the 50GHz Optical Frequency
Interleaver (OFI) for 50GHz implementations.
With high channel uniformity, low insertion loss, and low chromatic
dispersion, the 88 channel DWDM Mux/Demux is compatible with all
digital transmission formats and data rates up to 40 Gb/s.
