AAAC All Aluminum Alloy Conductor Bare cable
1 Description
(Zhengzhou Aobest Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.)
Bare homogeneous AAAC is concentric-lay-strandedconsisting of aluminium alloy wires wrapped helically around a central aluminiumalloy wire. It is similar in construction and appearance to AACconductor.
AAAC conductor has many advantages. For example, higher strengthto weightratio than AAC conductor, better corrosion resistance than ACSR conductor, lowerpower losses than equivalent aluminium layer conductor, more simpleaccessories.
The aluminium alloy stranding consists of 7, 19, 37, 61 and 91wires.
2 Application
AAAC is extensively used in overhead electric powertransmission and distribution lines which required suitable mechanical strengthand electrical conductivity.
AAAC is suitable for the long spansnetwork.
