Bare AAC All Aluminum Conductor cable
AAC Conductor (All Aluminum Conductors)
Zhengzhou Aobest Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.
1). Standard:
IEC61089, BS215 part1, DIN48201 part5, ASTMB231, BS EN50182,AS/NZS ETC
2). Construction:
AAC cable is composed by bareconcentric-lay-stranded aluminum wires with a straight round central aluminumwire surrounded by one or more layers of helically layed aluminumwires.
3). Application:
1> AAC cable is used in overhead electricpower transmission and distribution lines with various gradevoltages.
2>Under the same weight, AAC is with higherDC resistance and lower cost than Copper conductor.
3>Aluminium is light and be easy tolay.
4).Construction:
Standard6201-T81 high strength aluminum conductors, conforming to ASTM SpecificationB-399, are concentric-lay-stranded, similar in construction and appearance to1350 grade aluminum conductors.
Standard 6201 alloy conductors are similar toother alloy conductors commercially known as Ardival, Aldrey or Almelec. Theywere developed to fill the need for an economical conductor for overheadapplications requiring higher strength than that obtainable with 1350 gradealuminum conductors, but without a steel core.
The DC resistance at 20"C of the 6201-T81conductors and of the standard ACSR of the same diameter are approximately thesame. Conductors of the 6201 J81 alloys are harder and, therefore, have agreater resistance to abrasion than conductors of 1350-H 19 gradealuminum
5). Service Proformance
(1).The permissible long-time operatingtemperature for aerial conductor is 70oC.
(2).Under the circumstance that rare climate isoccuring and ice coverage rate low in heavy ice area, the biggest stress of cableat the lowest point of the sag should not exceed 60% of the short-timedestructive power.
(3).When connecting conductors, the conductorbeside the connecting tube cant be prominent.Otherwise, the force on theoperating conductors will be unbalanced. After connectors are install, theconnecting tube should be painted by moisture-proof varnish in order to protectit from corrosion.
(4).Under installaion, the arc downing stress ofall the conductors should be the same. With in the permissible distance ofcrossing buildings or dropping to the ground, the stress can be 10-15% higherthan regular stress.
6).Product Performance
(1).The electrical performance of AAC and ACSRis indicated in DCΩ/km(20oC).The resistivity of the hard aluminumwire for stranded wires is not greater than 28.264 nΩ. m of internationalstandard value.
(2).The rated tensile strength of AAC isdenoted with the result of total cross-section of all aluminum conductorsmultiplied by min.tensile of corresponding size specified in the standard foraluminum wire.
(3).The rated tensile strengh of ACSR isdenoted with sum of all aluminum conductorstensile strength and steels tensilestrength.
a.The tensile strength of all aluminumconductors is denoted with the result of all cross-sections of aluminumconductors multiplied by min.tensile strength of corresponding size specified inthe standard for aluminum wire.
b.The tensile strength of all steel wire isdenoted with the result of all cross-sections of steel wires multiplied by thestress at 1% elongation of corresponding size specified in the standard forsteel wire.
7.)MaterialStandard
(Zhengzhou Aobest Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.)
(1).The hard aluminum conductor used for AACand ACSR conforms to the standard GB/T 17048-1997(equivalent to IEC60889:1987).
(2).The zinc coated steel wire used for ACSRconforms to IEC 60888:1987.
(3).Production can be arranged according tocustomers requirements for material standard, etc.
