you can select the right position by you files' size to provides an evenly centered punch. i'll give you a example to make it clear, ifA4 size paper,you should choose the A4 position, if B5 size,you need to choose B5 position.

This depth side margin can be adjustable by your comb size ,there are 4 positions(3-6)

There are full 21 selectable punch dies can be pull out seperate by you sheet size and avoid half-end perforate
