This steel is developed for improving its cold forming on the basis of 06Cr19Ni10; it is added with Cu to reduce the tendency and rate of work-hardening and it can have the ultimate cold deformation under less forming force.
The steel is mainly used in making cold-working parts such as cold-heading fastening pieces, deep-draw parts, etc.
