Shaft seal
The shaft seal uses either packing seal or machine seal
Bearing and balancing mechanism
The rotor element is supported by redial bearing. The axial thrust gets balanced by balancing mechanism; residual axial thrust is carried by thrust bearing. The pumps use sliding bearing which get lubricated with dilute oil.
Transmission
The pump is driven by motor through the diaphragm coupling.
The direction of rotation: The rotation of the pump rotor is clockwise looking from the motor to the pump.
