Pot Magnets offer an increase in clamping force onto ferromagnetic materials because the magnets are inside a ferromagnetic casing (Ni or Zinc plated mild steel) which gives an improved magnetic circuit. This allows high clamping forces to be achieved with minimal size.
The Pot Magnet with Internal Threaded Stud / Boss Mounting has a boss / stud as part of the steel backing within which is a female threaded section. A M4 or M10 screw or bolt can be used to hold the Pot Magnet with Internal Threaded Stud / Boss Mounting in place.
