Tantalite content is usually low with its big specific gravity and weak magnetism, and the composition is complex.

Tantalite and niobite content is usually low with its complex composition. The density of TaNb mineral is big while the magnetism is weak. So there are many beneficiation methods for TaNb enrichmentand its processing is complex. The main beneficiation mainly covers gravity separation, magnetic separation, electric separation, and floatation separation while sometimes hydrometallurgy will be involved. Rough separation and fine selection will be needed to get high grade TaNb mineral concentrate. 

At this moment, the main beneficiation way for Tantalite and niobite ore is gravity separation with its lowest plant investment. However, for the micro fine inlay tantalite and niobite ore, the efficiency will be not so good while the recovery rate is low. Plants of jigging machine, spiral washing machine, shaking table, and centrifugal separator are involved in gravity processing line for tantalite and niobite.

For some uneven inlay TaNb mineral separation, the raw ore shall be crushed t be 10-15mm, and the rod mill will be involved to to make the ore to be -2mm, and then the output from the rod mill can go for jigger for rough separation. Then the shaking table will be involved to upgrade the concentrate from the jigger furtherly. The tailings from the shaking table can go for spiral washing machine to get the coarse grains of TaNb and the concentrate from spiral washing plant can be upgraded by shaking table. And final TaNb concentrate can be gained.

Saw-tooth-wave jigger of JT series is driven by saw-tooth wave and works by rising up and down water-stream
uniformity & serrated. It works greatly for ore/slag material of thin granularity size. It is widely used
in beneficiation of kinds of metal & non-metals & smelting slag like tungsten, tin, gold, iron, manganese, titanium, chromium, sulfur, silica-manganese slag, ferro-manganese slag, ferro-nickel slag etc. 

Working Principle:
JT jigger is kind of down-moving saw-tooth-wave jigger. Magnetic reduce motor drives the saw-tooth-wave producer to make different-heart movement through the cam. And the adjustment device will be driven to do alternate motion to make hypocentrum produce the regulation motion to squeeze the water in box move. The water-flow moving goes through the screen to dash the bed stones and the ore to move along parabola. Then the ore will be fed at the feeding port. The dropping speed differs for materials with different density to form different layers naturally. The light material will be discharged by the dashing of water while the heavy material will go down through the bed stones to the hypocentrum. Finally, the concentrate will be discharged to finish the jigging.
