Product Description

Diamond is kind of mineral composed of pure carbon. As kind of hardest material in nature, it is used widely, eg. cutting instrument of artware or in other industries. As a mineral, its content is very low, and rough separation and fine separation and other separation can be involved to get the diamond from the low content ore.

A general learning about the diamond type and characteristics is needed to get the diamond granules. There is protogenesis diamond ore and placer diamond ore. Protogenesis diamond ore is mainly kimberlite which consists mainly of Olivine, pyrope, phlogopite, chromite, ilmenite, apatite, moissanite and secondary of magnetite, serpentine, chlorite and calcite. Composition of placer diamond ore can be different because of different deposit formation. A diamond deposit in Changde, Hunan, China mainly consists of diamond, gold, titanium iron, hematite, magnetite, zircon sand, rutile, garnet, diaspore with the light minerals of quartz, feldspar, mica, opal etc..

The processing of diamond ore is generally divided into two phases-rough separation and fine selection. The rough separation is mainly gravity separation while the fine selection is decided by the specific of the diamond ore itself.

The diamond rough separation can be pan washing, jigging separation, heavy medium separation and during these three methods, diamond jig separation is used most commonly because of its simple operation, good efficiency, and high recovery as an ideal separation for diamond rough separation. Here jig separator is the ideal diamond rough separation equipment especially for placer diamond ore.

The fine selection of diamond ore is handy selection, electric separation, factice separation, and X-ray separation. During these methods, factice separation and handy separation is used most commonly. Handy separation can help to get the big granules of diamond while the factice can help to get the small diamond granules with recovery of 90-98%.

The separation of diamond is not so easy and not only one set of jigger or factice can finish the job to get diamond. Recently there are a few clients asking about the diamond separation and most of them do not learn more about the diamond separation. Introduction:

Jigging machine of 2LTC-6109/8T is widely used in mineral dressing or beneficiation system for kinds of ores like hematite, limonite, sand gold ore, manganese ore, tungsten ore, tin ore, Ta-Nb mineral, mercury ore, fluorite ore, barite ore, the azure quarries and so on. It can be also used to recovery metals or alloy particles from kinds of smelting slag like silica-manganese slag, ferro-manganese slag, nickel slag, steel iron slag, sulfate slag.

Working principle:

2LTC-6109/8T jigger is kind of side-moving rectangle jigger with two rows and four chambers. Motor drives reduction gears moving by the transmission. There are eccentric adjusting devices at both output ends of the reduction gears. The eccentric adjusting device drive the connecting rod after adjusting to drive the driving pan to do the alternation motion extruding the liquid in the cell body and promoting waves. The waving water moves through the screen to impact the ore on the screen making the ore in the state of free-failing body in the liquid. The ore grains own different dropping speed in the liquid because of the different density, so the ore will separate naturally. Finally, the heavier ore will be discharged out of the cell body after the adjustment and the lighter ore floats the waste-discharging mouth to be discharged and the whole ore beneficiation process is finished.
