Flat welding flange includes:plate flat welding (PL)flange, flat welding neck (SO ) flange.
PL flanges:Flat welding flange is suitable for the nominal pressure of not more than 2.5 MPa steel pipe connection. Flat welding flange sealing surface can be made into smooth type, concave and convex type and mortise type 3 kinds. Smooth are the largest type of flat welding flange. More mild in the conditions of medium, such as low pressure of purification, low pressure compressed air circulating water.
SO flanges:Compared with butt welding flange, welding workload is big, high electrode consumption, and can't withstand high temperature and high pressure reverse bend and temperature fluctuations, but the installation is convenient, can omit weld on rubbing process, more popular.
