Application
Foam
In foam sheet manufacturing – due to special production conditions – the filtration system, besides guaranteeing a reliable removal of solid and soft particles, must fulfill many additional requirements. Permanent pressure-consistency is very important to create a uniform and homogeneous cell structure and to avoid melt expansion during screen changes.
With rich experience in melt filtration system, DEAO New Single-plate Continuous Screen Changer with 2 working Positions is suitable to foam production line. The advantage is as follows;
• Steady incremental rate of screen travel eliminates head pressure and melt pressure fluctuations due to screen clogging. As a result, the gauge is maintained within very close tolerances.

Blow Film
In blown film manufacturing, besides the reliable removal of solid and soft particles in the melt, process-constant production even during screen changes or during the use of reclaim is particularly important. Moreover, the filtration system must exclude the possibility of leakage.
When the bubble is lost in a blown film line due to a screen pack change on a conventional screen changer, a considerable amount of time and material is lost. The screen moves imperceptibly slowly and continuously so as not to disturb the polymer flow, and the continuous motion of the screen automatically adjusts to correspond to the rate at which the screen is clogging.
