FBG integrate Lensed fiber

FBG and lensed fiber are the main products of Raysung. Moreover, Raysung can manufacture the type of optical fiber which incorporates FBG and lensed fiber (Turn-Key).The minimum distance between lensed fiber and FBG Raysung can control is 1.5mm. This type of Turn-Key can be used as cavity resonator in the application of fiber laser and also stabilizator for pump laser.

Application of Turn-key FBG and Lensed fiber.

With the rapid development of optical communications and high power laser industry, fiber bragg grating, lensed fiber are appropriate to provide a more favorable features for laser. Semiconductor lasers are important components of optical fiber communication field, common FB type quantum-well semiconductor laser is widely applied because of lower price,but its spectral structures includes multi-longitudinal mode, influence the application in high-speed optical communication system. The Single-frequency characteristic of DFB lasers is very excellent, but it is difficult to control the wavelength accuracy, linewidth enhancement is serious at high speed modulation, and high cost and complex process to produce these devices. External cavity can obviously narrow the linewidth of semiconductor laser, and gain the coherent light which communication requires. The characteristics of the external cavity semiconductor laser depends on the external cavity parameters. The feedback of external cavity structure is Fiber bragg grating and reflecting mirror, but they are bulky, high cost, and is not easy to be coupled into the fiber. The emergence of semiconductor laser coupling module has opened up a new way for the above problems. Fiber Bragg grating has a narrow-band feedback feature, and the fiber lens improves the light coupling efficiency to reach 80%, thus improve the energy conversion efficiency of the laser. Semiconductor laser coupling module eliminates the splice insertion loss of lens and the fiber grating, and improve the tensile strength
of the system, thereby improve the service life of laser device, also reduce the machining process steps, enhance productivity, lower production cost.

At present, many manufacturers who produce external cavity semiconductor lasers and fiber laser, need to weld together with different components, in order to achieve higher power for lasers, semiconductor laser coupling module is an inevitable trend.

In 2011, our company completed the first semiconductor laser coupling module integrated production, lensed fiber is processed at the fiber end of fiber bragg grating. Low production cost, large-scale production, processing convenience, with a strong competitive advantage, filling the domestic blank in this field.
