1. Summary
According toASTM D189-97, the instrument is suitable to determine residue of petroleum products after evaporation and pyrolysisin order to provide indicators of the relative tendency of coke referringtoGB/T268-87"Carbon Residue of Petroleum Products(Conradson Method)". It's typically used in petroleum products that are not easy to decompose with atmospheric distillation and are relatively not easy to volatile.
