1.Samarium Cobalt Magnets (SmCo5) :
are Rare Earth magnets and have been available since the early 1970's. SmCo magnets are typically manufactured through sintering or compression bonding and have very high magnetic properties paired with excellent thermal stability. Unlike stronger rare earth magnets, such as NdFeBs, samarium cobalt magnets are extremely resistant against corrosion and oxidation. These characteristics make SmCo magnets ideal for applications working in wide-ranging temperatures and rough environments.
