Product Description

BCK LiFePO4 Smart Battery Control Kit, Mini Batteries Management System

Description:

The mini battery management system is built with 1 or up to 4 smart battery packs in series and Battery Control Kit(BCK,optional).

Main Feature

1. Up to 48V system can be built with battery packs.

2. High continuous discharge current is available.

3. BCK can balance the battery packs.

4. BCK can read and display the information of battery system.

Main Function

1. Measure the voltage of the battery packs in series and the whole system.

2. Measure the charge and discharge current of the battery system.

3. Calculate the SOC of the system.

4. Control system temperature.

5. Record running and fault data of the system .

Applications:

Through RS485 cables BCK can collect voltage, current, temperature and SOC data from battery packs. BCK can also balance the battery packs during charging. The system is suitable for small scale power system, such as

1. Mini motor car

2. Small medical equipments

3. Other small power system

RS-485 Communication

RS-485 Communications is used to communicate with the battery modules.

CAN interface

CAN interface will be used to communicate with the host or the charger.

Charge Disconnect

When the battery modules are fully charged, they will communicate

with the BMU and the BMU has the ability to turn off the charger or

open the charger main contactor, interrupting current flow.

Analog/Digital

Communications

In case the host controller doesn’t have a CAN interface, the BMU

communicates with the host via analog/digital signals. These signals include:

Outputs – SOC (A), disable regen(D), early warning(D), BMU fault(D)

Inputs- 12V ignition (D), vehicle fault (D),

Discharge Interrupt

When the batteries are discharged to the under-voltage protection point,

BMU will attempt to alert the host to inhibit discharge. If discharge continues

beyond this warning, the BMU will request that the main contactor open or

can open it itself.

Insulation measurement

The BMU will check to make sure the battery module is sufficiently isolated

from the chassis before and after the main contactor is closed.

Pre-charge circuit

To limit the inrush current into the systems capacitors, a pre-charge resistor

is connected to B+ before the main contactor&nbs
