It is an optical, non-contact, all-field displacement and strain measurement system. Quick, easy operation and high preicision.
Working principle:
The combination of digital image correlation (DIC) and double 3D cameras is used in the DSMS system to obtain the measurement results of object plane 3D coordinates, deformation and strain during the course of deformation by tracing the images of speckle on the surface of the object.
The system displays measurement result in 3D image and have rich capacities of data treatment, analysis and report generation, especially suitable for detecting and analyzing 3D deformation and strain-field under static or dynamic loading.
The most functions of the system are realized via software control, including measuring, computing, displaying and reporting with drop-down menu, short-cut icon or dialogue box.
It has such characters as: portability, quickness, high-precision, easy-operation, etc.
Application fields:
*Material test (Youngs modulus, Poisson's ratio, elastic-plastic behavior parameter)
*Parts test (displacement and strain measurement)
*Biomechanics (bone, muscle, blood vessel, etc)
*Micro morphology, strain analysis (micron degree, nanometer degree)
*Fracture mechanics behavior
*Validation of finite element analysis (FEA)
*High-speed deformation measurement (dynamic and transient)
*Dynamic strain measurement (e.g. fatigue test)
*Determination of forming limit curve (FLC)
