Pressure-locked gratings are pressed together under extreme force, resulting in a quicker assembly process. We also supply serrated pressure locked gratings where dirt, oil and grease make normal gratings hazardous
Galvanised mesh gratings consist of bearing bars that lie in the span direction, and filler & support bars that lie across the bearing bars. The filler and support bars, the height of which is lower than that of the bearing bars, are pressed into specially shaped and punched grooves in the bearing bars under extreme pressure. This operation binds the different bars together in a mesh. As terminal edges and in order to stabilise it, the grating is provided with edging bars on all four sides. Where the edging bars meet in the grating corners, the edges are welded on the inside to further stabilise the
grating.
