Classifier is a key piece of equipment for shunting sand and ore together with ball mill in dressing plant. It is widely used in
sand factory, construction plant, hydropower station, concrete dam construction and mineral separation.
It has two types of classifier, high weir type and immersed type
Main features of classifier

4. Wearable design and little maintenance. The main components of this classifier are disperser, fine materials collector, crosswind adjustment plate, dominant wind adjustment plate, multi-channel
feeder. All this parts are made by wearable steel and ceramic, which improved the service life of the equipment. What's more, the machine has done dynamic balance correction and runs smoothly in full speed.

Working principle of classifier
Classifier is equipment using the theory that different gravels have different specific gravity and sedimentation rates in liquid to do the classifying work. The equipment allows the fine ore to float in the water, while coarse ore sinks to the bottom, then the coarse materials are sent to the feeding mouth, and the fine materials are discharged. Classifier often used after ball mill. It can filter the output grinded by ball mill hierarchically, and send the rough material into the
ball mill by spiral and discharge the fine one from the overflow tube.
