Product Description

NEW ENGINEERING PRODUCT-GCL
Introduction:
Geosynthetic clay liners (GCL) are new environmental reinforced composites.
GCLs made by our company, DEZHOU LIYUAN INTERNATIONAL CO.,LTD., are usually composed of three layers. Two outer layers are woven geotextile and non-woven geotextile, and the middle layer is natural Na-bentonite. Three layers are combined through a special high performance process, needle-punched process. The special process can make GCL form many small fiber rooms and these rooms can keep bentonite grains flow in one direction .When GCL is in contact with water, the bentonite swells to form a low permeability clay layer with the equivalent hydraulic protection of several feet of compacted clay.
Sometimes, as customers' requests, HDPE geomembrane can be added to the outside of non-woven geotextile layer to enhance the waterproof performance, GCL WITH MEMBRANE.
Advantages:
compared to traditional waterproof materials:
1. environmental friendly (natural sodium bentonite)
2. smaller size and lighter weight
3. better seal performance (equal to 5 layers of traditional waterproof materials)
4. special self-repair ability (it can not only repair the damage by itself, but repair concret cracks at the same time )
5. easier construction and lapping, suit to uneven settlement
6. stronger erosion resistance
7. non-aging and undissociated (can use above 100 years)
Usage:
Mainly used in environmental engineering and have good effects in sealing , segregation, anti-leakage, and aging resistance.
1. landfill emissions
2. landscape lakes
3. rooftop swimming pool
4. underground reservoirs
5.man-made rivers and canals
6.underground infrastructure construction projects,
7. aquaculture construction
