The farrowing crate is a large crate offering optimum space for the modern large sized breeding sows.The outside bent lower tubes offer more space and therefore a spacious rest area. This way the sow is comfortable and will thus farrow quietly without being bothered by obstacles such as fingers from finger crates, etc. This calm behaviour during farrowing makes the sow less tired resulting in a fast recovery.

The two anti-crush bars,mounted in the accurate position,make it virtually impossible for the sow to fall any longer.Due to this piglets have plenty of time to step aside, as they feel the sow coming down (approaching).

The crate's design makes it possible for piglets to reach the udder without any obstacles or hindrances. They are able to drink the vital first milk from the very beginning. No longer piglets die of starvation due to obstacles from the farrowing crate.

Piglets can move freely around the sow through the entire pen. No extra dirty corners or chilled piglets any more. Above all, piglets can always escape in the event the sow behaves in an aggressive manner.

The farrowing crate is adjustable in three positions:
- In the width by adjusting anti-crush bars
- In the height by adjusting outside bent lower tubes
- In the length by adjusting the back door

The farrowing crates offers optional water supply for the sow. To stimulate lactation, it is very important that sows drink a large amount of water after farrowing.
