1. Summary
Featuring in flexible, powerful applications, easy maintenance and upgrade, ZMUX-1200 is a centralized switching device for E1 channel protection featuring in flexible modular tributary board design based on VLSI solution. It supports max 14 tributary boards.Its max capacity is supporting 56 important E1 channels by installing 14 tributary boards.
The supported tributary boards are M12-2 and M12-4 as described in the following, M12-2 can protect 2 important E1 channels from subscriber device, and M12-4 can protect 4 important E1 channels.
Our YXONM Network Management Console V3.0 can be used to make real-time monitoring of the communications status of all the devices in the whole network.
2. Function Descriptions
a) Chassis size: 19 inch, 6U height
b) 1~14 pieces of M12-2/M12-4 tributary boards can be installed, through main and stand-by E1 channels, M12-2 can provide protection for 2 channels of E1 transmissions, and M12-4 can provide protection for 4 channels of E1 transmissions. One Chassis can protech 56 channels of E1 transmissions.
c) Adopt VLSI based solutions with intellectual property rights, reliabe performance, and highly integrated design;
d) With perfect alarming functions: It can not only display the working status by LED lights on the panel, but also implement real-time monitoring of the whole network through PC platform.
e) Our ZMUX-1200 features in real-time supervision on the main and stand-by channels, remote control by pc or manually mandatory switching. When the main E1 channel failure occurs in exchange,the E1 transmissions can be switched to stand-by channel for remote device by network management console V3.0, or by switchgear on local device.

The tributary boards supported by ZMUX-1200 consist of two types, power board and switching board which daughter cards of service interfaces can be inserted into.
